Customer Support / Re: FAQ: How to Back Up and Restore the AML Wallet
« Last post by JoseeAMLsupport on May 11, 2018, 08:27:25 am »
Can you please let me know how do I "unhide" the data folder so I can restore my wallet?

Hi Tokenboss,

In order to unhide the folders you will have to follow a set of instructions.
I have attached Windows step guide for you to follow.

1. First we need to unhide the folders to search the amltoken
2. Go to Control Panel, and search for Appearance and Personalization
3. Scroll down and find File Explorer options, click on the option “Show hidden files and folders”
4. Scroll down to the option “Show hidden files, folders and drives” press apply and Ok

This way you will be able to unhide the folders in your Windows PC.

After you unhide the folder you can follow the steps to restore your wallet properly:

1. Go to My Computer, click on Local Disk (C:),
2. Scroll down and Click to the Users Folder, than click on Your login name
3. Search and click the AppData folder, click on Roaming folder
4. Go to the amltoken folder and you will see the “wallet.dat” file
5. Now you can replace it with the new wallet.dat for the new file

Thank you!

Exchange & Trading Discussions / Re: AML BitCoin Is Now Listed on IDAX!

Can you please let me know where in the IDAX website I can see the price in USD for 1 AML Coin? I don't understand the site and I want to buy more coins.

Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that the token is listed as ABTC but will show the USD price at the top of the part of the screen. In order to see this you will have to register for an account here: https://www.idax.mn/#/exchange?pairname=ABTC_BTC.
Once you register for an account please follow these instructions:
1-. Click on "EXCHANGE"
2-. Search on the bar for ABTC (the search bar is located at the top right corner of your window)
3-. Mark ABTC as favorite by clicking in the star next to "ABTC" and hit "enter"

You will be able to see on the top close to the left corner the price in USD.

Thank you!

It’s listed Abtc/btc so it doesn’t list it in USD. Although at the top of the pairing it breaks it down to USD. If you open an account on IDAX and deposit some Bitcoin you can buy ABTC. I know it might be confusing but when you start actually buying it begins to make sense. Good luck AML is the wave of the fire ihmo.

I'm wondering where all the tokens have come from that are being exchanged at the bid. It is unusual. Over 100k traded many below initial public offering. If I'm incorrect I would certainly appreciate an correction. I am a huge supporter of AML/KYC and believe long term AML can be the standard. I'm just confused at this opening and how it took place and was created. Press releases were informing us HitBTC was to be the first exchanged. Now, I did learn through chat, that ALM was looking into other exchanges, but no detailed confirmation was provided. IMHO, AML has made a couple of unforced errors and would suggest in the future they keep the unforced errors at a minimum.

Hi there, Do I need to transfer the coins I buy on IDAX to my AML wallet? Or can I leave them there?

Hi,

You will need to transfer then tokes you bought to the AML Wallet, or you can leave it there.
Make sure you generate a backup once you send the tokens back to your wallet. Please note IDAX is currently not allowing ABTC withdrawals; the expected time for withdrawals is within 1-2 weeks. Those in the US and Canada are advised to wait to start trading until the withdrawal option is available.

Thank you!

What are the minimum requirements for RAM in order to run the AML Wallet without any inconvenience?

Hi Techbot,

Please note that the minimum requirements for the wallet to execute properly is Windows 8 64-bits 8GB ram minimum. For MAC, the AML Wallet is only compatible with 10.12 macOS Sierra to 10.13 macOS High Sierra 8 GB RAM. 6GB could work but it depends on what else is running on your computer.. if you have a lot of apps running the wallet may crash or give you errors.
